This 47 µF electrolytic capacitor is predestined to be installed in a tube amplifier.

Since high voltages are used in a tube amplifier, the capacitors should be able to withstand a voltage of 500 V.

Since power amps give off a lot of heat, the caps dry out during their operating time. If you want to ensure that the voltage is always filtered well, the old caps have to be replaced. We want to avoid the fact that there are even more defects in our amplifiers due to dried up and defective capacitors.
